Because so many of us need to know what a particular item sold for, and because those references are getting harder and harder to find, I decided to have a section of items previously sold. This is a recent addition and, unfortunately, does not reflect the 1000s of items I’ve sold on the internet through the years. Wouldn’t that be great?

1980s, oversize, ombre, rose colored sunglasses by Opti-Ray. They are nonprescription and can be used as is. The plastic frames are rose colored with gold, metal, open style brackets on each side. The brackets are hinged to gold metal arms that end in black, plastic coating over the ears.
Each lens is 2-1/2″ x 2-1/4″. The width across the face is 5-1/2″. The arms are about 3-3/4″ to the curve over the ear, 4-3/4″ total length.
In very good condition. I don’t see any scratches.

Big, oversize, 1980s glasses with a plastic, imitation, tortoise shell look frame. Titmus brand. The lenses are prescription, bifocals, and are scratched, so they will absolutely have to be changed.
The tortoise shell look is not very distinctive. Actually more color variations than deliberate imitation, but still has the look.
Each lens is 2″ x 2″ with the total width across the face 4-7/8″. The arms sit low on the frame. Such a popular look in the ’80s. Each arm is about 5-1/4″ long. Titmus is written on the inside of the arms.
There are a couple of rough spots on the bottom edges, not bad, that can probably be polished out when the lenses are replaced. The arms are unlevel a bit. I have not worked with them to get them even.

Las Vegas Yucca Club menu, probably from the 1930s. It is the wine menu only.
Small, 5-1/4″ x 3-1/2″, single fold. The front features the Virginia Dare Wine logo. Inside is a complete wine list. The back is a place for the members of your party to autograph as a souvenir.
It is in good condition. There are a couple of small, soft bends along the edge. The back however, was apparently exposed to the light unevenly. Please see the photos for the back fading as well as size comparison.

Original, early 1960s, black wire Barbie stand. 8-1/2″ tall, it fits both Barbie and Midge.
It is in very good condition. No rust, however the paint is a bit rough in some places. This is, I believe, a manufacturing flaw. The wire has not been bent.

Three Contempora Metlox Mobile Poppytrail, berry bowls.
They are 5-1/4″ x 5-3/4″ and 1-1/4″-1-3/4″ tall, so are dessert, berry or sauce bowls. All three are in very good condition. No chips or cracks and no utensil marks. There doesn’t appear to be any fading to the pattern.
This is a fine example of mid century, free form, atomic design. The colors in the design are black, gray, deep pink and emerald green. Classic.

Vintage batwing sweater in gold, cable knit, with high, fold over turtleneck, push-up, batwing sleeves and slouch hem. Size medium. Kitty Hawk brand.
This style is so popular again. If it was my size, I’d keep it! I love this sweater.
Measurements:
Length from base of neck to hem: 23″
Turtleneck: 5″, or folded over, 2-1/2″
Sleeve length from base of neck: 26″ Includes 5-1/4″ ribbing)
Relaxed hem: 20″ stretching to 36″
In very good, vintage condition. I find no stains. A few pulls have been repaired and brought through to the back. I think I found them all (3), but it’s possible I’ve missed some.

Beautiful, vintage, Italian, Empoli cased glass decanter with flame tip stopper. Gray with 3 ball, gurgle, design. 22″ total height, 15″ without the stopper. Perfect condition.
Great example of mid century modern, art glass. It fits as well with today’s contemporary and traditional decor as it does with MCM.

1960’s, mid mod, hor’ dourves set – compartmented pottery tray and skewers. It is a pentagon shape, raised and curved dividers forming five “bowls”. The base color is creamy white and has light, olive green splattered heavily in the center and more sparsely toward the edges. The center is raised about 2″. The center opening seems to have no other purpose than a place for the skewers. A heavy metal piece, painted to look like wood or cork, sits in the center and holds the skewers. It can be turned over so the flat bottom faces up for easy storage or to provide a flat surface for a bowl.
There are eight, single tine, 10″ skewers. Their wooden handles are in the Danish Modern style. They don’t appear to have been used much, if at all. However, one handle was split lengthwise. It was a clean break leaving the wood smooth. But of course, there is no stain on that side.
The bottom is covered in cork and marked Luau Livin’ Products Co. The tray is 13″ diameter and in very good to excellent condition. I find no chips, cracks, crazing or nicks.

Two, fun, vintage brushes. One is a small paint brush, the other a round, stiff, straw bristle, stipple(?) brush.
This item is sold. Price is shown for reference.
The stipple brush is 10″ long with a wooden handle. The bristles are quite coarse and stiff. They appear to be straw. The wood on the handle has a beautiful patina.
The little, green paint brush spoke to me when I saw it. It is so lowly. The handle is plastic and broken on the end. But… it’s green! A pretty shade of green at that. The metal holding the bristles is terribly rusted and caved in on one side. The bristles curve out to one side. There’s something about the combination of all this that is so charming. It is 7″ long.

Vintage, 1960s, perhaps late 1950s, brushed gold, contact lens case. It has a tiny pair of rhinestone glasses on top. Open the lid and there are the bowls for the contacts.
This has never been used. The case was still wrapped in tissue paper. I had to unwrap it to take the picture, then carefully re-wrapped. Though it isn’t quite as neat as originally. It comes with the original box, instructions for opening the metal box, and a blue, felt bag (not pictured).
