Because so many of us need to know what a particular item sold for, and because those references are getting harder and harder to find, I decided to have a section of items previously sold. This is a recent addition and, unfortunately, does not reflect the 1000s of items I’ve sold on the internet through the years. Wouldn’t that be great?

  • Vintage Lavender Pumps - Benzelli Shoes

    Vintage Satin Lavender Shoes Size 8 – Plus Lavender Pantyhose – Benzelli Lavender Pumps

    These shoes are sold. Price is shown for reference only.

    Vintage, Benzelli, lavender, satin pumps, size 8M, with matching pantyhose. I believe they are ca. late 1970s to early ’80s. The shoes are most likely dyed.

    The heel of the shoe is 2-1/4″ high. Total length of shoe, from the toe point to the back of the heel is 10″. Ball of foot is about 2-3/4″.

    Looking at the bottom, it’s obvious they were only worn once, probably as a bridesmaid. But bridesmaids do bump into things and stumble around sometimes.

    There are a few, light, dirty spots. Some, here and there, are so light as to be barely there. But there is a dark, 1/4″ stain on the toe of the right shoe and some light stains on the grosgrain ribbon around the top that are more easily detected. These can actually be seen in the in the close-up pictures. I have not attempted to clean them. The spots are so small and unobtrusive that it doesn’t seem worth the risk. Especially since, well, I’ve been known to make things worse in the past. I’m sure you could do much better than I if you want them pristine.

    The satin is a bit fuzzy in areas, which is very normal and expected.

    The pantyhose have no label or size and are in excellent condition. The stretch is firm and there are no runs.

    These are fun for a spring wedding or retro prom dress.

  • Vintage Uncle Wiggily Game Pieces

    Vintage Uncle Wiggily Game Pieces – Metal Uncle Wiggly

    Authentic vintage, Uncle Wiggily game pieces. These are from the 1950s or earlier. There are only three, metal, Uncle Wiggily pieces. There is no board and it is not a complete set of pieces. The pieces are as follows:

    * Three, metal Uncle Wiggilies – Yellow, green and blue.

    * Five, plastic discs – Black, navy, white, green and red.

    * Four unfinished wood, plain, thick discs.

    * Four, wood, cylinders that hold metal discs. The paint on these cylinders and the discs is very worn and faded.
    The colors and number of metal discs are:
    Green – 8 discs
    Red – 7 discs
    Yellow – 4 discs
    Blue – 7 discs

    * 68 white (now yellowed to a creamy color) cards with numbers. IE:
    2 — If you will help Uncle Wiggily along
    Give him two hops and sing a song.

    * 34 Red cards. IE:
    The unpleasant Woozle Bug makes Uncle Wiggily go back three hops. A bad chap is the Woozle Bug.

    The glasses are in very good condition. The glass is not water etched and the painting is vibrant and solid. They don’t appear to have ever been in a dishwasher.

  • Elvis and the Colonel Christmas Postcard

    Elvis Collectible Christmas Postcard – 1968 – Colonel Dressed As Santa

    Great Elvis collectible! Promotional postcard featuring Elvis with The Colonel dressed as Santa. It’s in good condition, however, it does have some edge wear. The lower right corner is bent about 1/16″ in. There is a “scratch” dent in the top that looks like it was made with a dull instrument like an empty ink pen or stylus. In the upper right corner, there is a protruding dent about the size of a pin hole. It does not break the surface, but did cause a tiny white spot. You can actually see this in the picture. If you angle the card just right in the light, you can also see very, very light storage soiling.

    The card is unused. No writing.

    Edwardian Style Female Bust Statue in Gold and Cream – Plaster or Chalkware

    Small, eight inch, gold and cream, Edwardian style female bust. Her hair and clothes are dull gold and her skin is cream. It has an antiqued look all over. It’s in good condition. I can find no chips, cracks or nicks. Made of plaster or chalk. The bottom is solid, but has felt glued to it.

    8″ tall and her shoulders are 4″ across.

  • Santa Boots Salt and Pepper Shakers

    Christmas Santa Boots Salt and Pepper Shakers – Napcoware Napco

    Such a fun Christmas collectible! The Napcoware, ceramic / pottery, Santa boots, salt and pepper shakers are red with a white cuff and a gold bell on the toe. The white, fur cuffs have gold painted trim around them and gold painted tassels hanging all around. Holly leaves are painted next to the toe. They are 4-1/2″ tall and 3-1/2″ from the toe to the heel. There are no chips or cracks, but there is some light crazing and the top of one has some dark stains under the glaze. The 4th picture shows a close-up of these. There are also spots where the gold is wearing off. You can see these in the pictures, as well.

    They are marked “NAPCOWARE” on the bottom, the silver sticker is still in place, although it’s illegible, and they still have their plastic stoppers.

  • Folk Art Firkin

    Fun, folk art painted firkin or lidded bucket for your primitive, folk art decor! The saying around the side says,

    “A plump wife and a big red barn – never did any man harm.”

    The body of the bucket is made of 8 wooden staves of varying widths which are held together by two thin, wooden bands. Each band is decorated with a continuous, squiggly line. The wood lid fits securely and is decorated with brush strokes, dots and squiggles in burnt orange, golden yellow and cream. The lid handle is a wooden knob.

    The bucket has a beautiful patina to the wood and has a heavy gauge, wire bail. It is 6-1/2″ tall (not including the bail), 7″ diameter at the top and 5-1/2″ diameter at the bottom. The wooden staves are just under 1/2″ thick.

    I’ve been unable to determine the age. It could be antique, 1940s-60s or even 1980s, but certainly no younger than that. My gut says the mid century Early American era, but that’s just my guess.

    I see this used in primitive decor and especially when decorating for autumn.

The floral design is about 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″. A small triangle was worked in the upper right corner with cream yarn that looks a bit soiled.

    Adorable, little, 3-1/2″ tall, composition, frozen Charlotte. It has painted eyes looking to the side and a round, dollop of paint for the mouth. The molded hair is parted on the side and combed over. His arms are molded to the body with the hands resting on his round tummy.

    The body is chipped and does have cracks as composition dolls are prone to do. Please look at the pictures carefully to see the damage.

    Vintage, 1960s, green glass Christmas garland, still in its original packaging. The package doesn’t give a length, but because of some similar packages I have, I’m guessing it is 8′ long. The balls are in twos. Two molded together rather than single balls. They are about 1/4″ diameter. They are strung with heavy string and end in a cardboard star.

    The package top is blue background with Santa in his sleigh pulled by 4 reindeer.

    There are 2 bags available. Each sold separately, but can be bought through this one listing.

    Both packages have one or two crushed balls, but nothing major. The package headers do show wear – fading, some soiling and the hole to hang on a peg is torn.
