Mid century modern, yellow, ceramic vase with hand painted panel with tropical flowers. The vase is textured, but the painted panel is smooth. It is 9″ tall and 4-1/4″ diameter at the opening and the base. It is almost certainly someone’s home ceramics. The initials, “DM” are in the bottom right corner. The bottom of the base is painted smooth and there are three straw marks. A mold seam is visible to the left of the painted design. There is a very small chip on the bottom. Most of it is actually on the bottom, but if you look closely, you can see part of the nick from above. There are two more nicks as well. Please see the close up pictures.

Round flue cover with a lovely, dark haired, Victorian lady in a blue dress and holding a bouquet of pink roses. She also has flowers in her Gibson Girl styled hair.
The flue cover is 7″ diameter. The actual picture is 3-1/2″ diameter. Surrounding the picture is a gold area with a black line around the middle. There is some scratching to that gold in the upper right, about 1:00. The frame has a darkened patina. The chain has come undone on one side. The little part of the frame that holds the chain there is broken. Soldering is probably the best fix if you must use the chain, however, a plate holder works just as well.

January 8, 1970 program for Family Night With the Astronauts, the guys of Apollo XII, held in the Municipal Auditorium in Birmingham, Alabama. The astronauts were Charles “Pete” Conrad, Richard Gordan and Alan Bean.
The program is card stock, folded in the middle. It is 7″ x 10″. It has a posed picture of them standing in front of the craft and their signatures below. I believe these were printed onto each program rather than individually signed. They are just a little too lined up to believe they were individually signed and I see no evidence of a pen bearing down.
The program is in good condition, however it does have some soiling and the top corner is bent.

Pink and white, watercolor splash design, opened, flour sack. It is 45″ long and 36″ wide. There are some brown stains. The most noticeable of these is about 2-1/2″ long and 3″ from the selvedge edge. It starts 3-1/2″ from the cut edge and goes on down to about 6″ from the cut edge. Another, much smaller stain is in the lower corner. There is another, small, light stain about 5-1/2″ from the selvedge edge 9″ from the bottom. Please look at the last three pictures closely.

Sleek pair of mid century, wooden (Walnut perhaps?), candlesticks. They are almost 3″ tall and the bases are 2-3/4″ diameter. Condition is good to very good. They have a beautiful, smooth sheen to the wood. There are some nicks and scuffs, but just sitting here looking at them critically, I actually only notice two. And those are not jarring. But I wanted you to be aware of the flaws pictured in the last three photos. Please keep in mind that the close-ups are greatly magnified. More than twice the actual size. I didn’t even realize one had crackled until I saw the magnified picture! I can only see that with the magnifying glass.
Someone wrote on the felt bottoms, “The Lamplighter – CS73W.” Maybe they were from a hotel or club called The Lamplighter.
