Pictures Of the Booth Decorated For Fall

Halloween table in the booth 2017

Finally, the booth is decorated for fall! Such as it is. The booth has been so neglected. There just haven’t been big blocks of time to fix that, Ricky hasn’t had a chance to build any new furniture, and sales have definitely suffered. I was also sharing a booth with a friend at a mall near here and had neglected my part there, too, so I gave that up, changed the price tags, gathered up fall and Halloween things, a couple of crummy bookcases, three pieces of furniture from my Dad’s and planned to spend a day at Angel’s. (Angel’s in Opelika, Alabama) Continue reading Pictures Of the Booth Decorated For Fall

Booth Sales Report #5

September sales were bad for me. Both on Etsy and in the booth. You can see the >>Etsy sales report here<< While I won’t take total blame for the poor Etsy sales, I do take full responsibility for the booth. We’ve been so wrapped up in selling my dad’s house (We closed on Friday. Yay!) and getting our house ready to put on the market, the best I’ve done with the booth is run by and do a quick straightening and not even once a week with that. It was sloppy. Picked-over looking. Horrible. Looked like it didn’t belong to anyone. So sad. Not like me at all. Here is how it looked when I went yesterday, prior to filling it back up — which will be next week’s post:

No wonder sales were bad!

I really debated even sharing the sales for the month, but if I’m anything, I’m transparent. I share the good and the bad. Because we ALL go through good and bad. Well, most of us anyway. Some people live a charmed life, but it ain’t me.

So here it is. My September 2017 booth sales report: Continue reading Booth Sales Report #5

Etsy Sales Report #6 With Some BOLOs!

Etsy sales report for September 2017

Here is my Etsy sales report for the month of September 2017. Sales weren’t great, but there are a couple of things I sold that you should be on the lookout for, or BOLOs for short, that you might not have been aware of. Nothing that’s going to sell for a fortune, but things you can almost always pick up for a quarter – or less – that will consistently sell for around $10.00 – or more. I’ll take those any day of the week! Especially since they’re so common and you can use the same listing over and over. Continue reading Etsy Sales Report #6 With Some BOLOs!

Etsy Sales Report for August 2017

August 2017 Etsy Sales Reports Pinterest Image

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we’ve been so terribly busy this summer! Trying to get our house and my dad’s house ready to sell, working on a non-related estate sale, working on and having a sale at my dad’s, getting away for a few days at the beach, and trying to maintain the booths and at least my Etsy shop, if not the blog and blog shop. Whew! I wish for what passes for our normal life again. But it’s not likely to happen in the next few months.

Still, Etsy wasn’t half bad due primarily to a surprise $275 sale. We’ll get to that at the end. It’s definitely something to watch for if you resell.

Here’s what sold: Continue reading Etsy Sales Report for August 2017
