Such a simple and lovely, single, myrtle wood candle holder made by J.D. Molitor of Coos Bay, Oregon. Add this to a collection of wood candlesticks or mcm candle holders for a touch of interest.
It is 2-3/4″ tall and the round base is 4″ in diameter. It is lacquered over natural wood to bring out the beauty of the wood grain. There is a brass ring inside the candle cup.
It is in very nice, vintage condition. There is a tiny nick on the edge of the candle cup that shows up as a white dot in one of the pictures. It is not as easily noticeable under natural room lighting. There are also a couple of scratch-type dents in the wood that were lacquered over. The light has to hit just right to see these and they obviously happened in the creating process.
