Vintage 1960s-1970s, stoneware salt and pepper shakers with avocado green band, made in Japan. I believe these might be Spring Bouquet or Wild Flower. If not, they go quite well with the patterns. The bodies are off-white, almost tan and have a wide avocado green band at the bottom and a narrow band at the top and there are barely discernable dark flecks in the clay as are in the Spring Bouquet pattern.
They are just over 4″ tall and the bulbous area at the bottom is about 2-1/2″ in diameter.
They are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The plastic stoppers have darkened with use and age.
“JAPAN” is marked on the bottom in silver.
