Vintage metal tissue box cover, black with tole painted roses made for name brand tissue company who won’t let me state their name saying it’s copyright infringement. Huh? Their name is molded into the box. It was made specifically for them. Young whippersnappers – or bots most likely – have no idea this ever existed.
Anyway….. The flowers are painted in oil and have a raised texture. There is a large, pink rose in the center of each side of the slit, both surrounded by smaller blue flowers and green leaves. It is 10-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ and 2″ deep. The top comes off to easily place the rectangular box of tissue inside. It can sit on the counter or hang on the wall. It’s in good, clean condition with very little surface wear. One corner of the lid is dented and there are some minor scuffs on one edge as pictured.
The bottom reads, “DISPENSER FOR K****** TISSUES.” (As stated before, the company sent me an infringement notice when I originally listed this even though the box was made specifically for that company with the brand name impressed on the bottom!)
