Adorable, redware, deer and fawn decanter. 9″ tall. The fawn is on the back of Momma forming the handle. Both the doe and fawn have white spots. It has a shiny, black finish. The doe has gold, cold-paint, feet, a red bow, and they both have pink inside their ears. The cold paint is in remarkably good condition with only a few, small, missing spots here and there, that were probably never painted in the first place. The head of the doe is the decanter stopper and has cork to fit inside the decanter neck. The cork is broken on the back. There is one small chip on Momma’s ear. There are small areas around the neck opening that I believe missed getting the color and glaze. There is also a line indention on the neck of the bottle that has both color and glaze, so definitely happened during the manufacturing process.
This item WILL come packed tightly with styrofoam peanuts. I don’t like them either, but my priority is getting your item to you safely and at this point in time they, plus lots of big bubble wrap, are the only things I trust to do that.
