1960s pink drip planter marked USA. It is a swirl shape, resembling a gourd, but I think it’s probably just an abstract swirl. It is 8″ wide, 4″ tall and about 5″ front to back. The oval opening is 3-1/2″ x 3″. The top area is a mottled pale pink that drips down to a darker, solid pink. There is a line close to the opening of darker, concentrated pink. It’s in good condition with no chips or cracks, but does have crazing, most obvious at the bottom. The maker is unknown, but it has been suggested it is California pottery.
This planter is pretty rare. I’ve actually only found one other on the internet and it was black and gray.
