Vintage hand puppet, from the 1960s, a Kasper hand puppet believed to be designed by Dresden artist, Curt Meißner, or the Americanized spelling, Curt Meissner. The head is molded and has embroidered features and black bead eyes and rosy, painted cheeks. He has yellow hair coming out from under his cap. His glove is red and black, plaid flannel. His hands are felt. His collar is gold on the topmost layer with green underneath. There is a red felt bow under the collar. The hat is gold and green with red trim with what feels like cardboard inside to keep it standing straight. The total length from the bottom of the glove to the tip of his hat is 19″.

He is in very well taken care of condition. I bought it from the original owner whose father brought it back from a trip to Germany in the 1960s as a gift to her as a young child.
