R T Shen Painting Of the Road To the Cameron Pass Framed Dated 1955

Striking, 1955 painting of the road to the Cameron Pass by R.T. Shen. The sky is a deep, brilliant blue with fluffy clouds, and there’s a touch of autumn in the trees. The mountains are in the distance. The painting itself is on a flat, 8″ x 10″ canvas. It is framed in an antiqued gold frame that measures 14-1/2″ x 12-1/2″ and is about 2″ deep. The painting is signed and dated, R Shen 1955. Written in pencil on the back is R.T. Shen – November 1955 – 1001 W. Prospect – Road to Cameron Pass. Both the painting and frame are in very nice condition. It appears to have been well taken care of through the years. There is an oily stain on the back at the bottom that does not appear to come through to the front.
