Vintage, 1970s, Jaru ceramic trinket box and lid. Signed and dated 1974 on the inside. It’s large, 7″ long x 5″ wide x 4″ tall (height includes lid). Molded flowers cover the entire surface. The base color is antiqued gold with some of the flowers highlighted in silver. There is one chip to a leaf on a corner. There is also an odd area on the corner of the lid. It appears to have been chipped, but black which looks the same as the antiquing medium was applied over it. I don’t know if that was done during the creation of the box or aftermarket. Please see the photos. The bottom has the original price tag as well as the original felt pads.
It is quite heavy, weighing in at 3-1/2 lbs.
