Vintage heavy, carved wood picture frame. It’s probably Mexican, is wall hung and takes a 4″ x 6″ photo. Outside dimensions are 11-1/2″ tall x 6-3/4″ wide. The border is a carved chain and the top crest reminds me of an Aztec headdress. The wood is 3/4″ thick. There is a sunken, metal, keyhole on the back to hang it on a nail. There are scuffs to the wood, adding to the primitive charm. It has the glass and a pressed wood back that could possibly have had an easel attached at one time. Or it might not be original to the frame at all. Hard to know with these vintage things sometimes.
