Wall mount, porcelain/enamel over iron, antique soap dish in the shape of a sea shell. It projects 4-1/2″ from the wall and is 4″ across at the widest part. You can see in the second picture how a current bar of soap fits perfectly. Probably from the 1920s or thereabouts, it does show signs of its age. There are a few chips to the enamel leaving the iron exposed and only a very small amount of rust. The center of the bowl isn’t as smooth and shiny as the rest of the body. It just has a rougher feel. That could be the original design or could have happened from use.
It attaches to the wall with two screws (NOT included).
There is the remainder of a sticker on the back of the mount. The only thing I can make out is the last part of “Chicago.”
