Mod, ceramic, 1960’s, butterfly planter. So, typically, 1960’s, reflecting innocence and idealism. “Butterflies are free”, ya know?
Made of wood look ceramic and painted a matte yellow on the outside with gloss white on the inside. The butterflies are orange, red, and the same yellow as the planter. It is pedestal shaped, 4-1/2″ tall and 4″ diameter at the opening. There is a sticker on the inside that reads, “Hand Decorated” and a small, blue, oval sticker on the bottom that simply reads, “Japan.”
