Vintage wood flowerpot holder made in Japan in the 1960s. The wood is in 6 sections. Each section has geometric cutouts in a very mid century modern style and each section is bent slightly to form the sides of the round basket. The bottom and a band at the top hold the pieces together. Gaps can be seen where they meet. It is in very good condition. I don’t see any signs of use.
It is 6″ tall and 6″ in diameter (inside measurement). The Japan sticker is still on the bottom.
