Vintage book stand of carved, Sheesham wood from India. The carving on the sides is lions on the top and a type of bird or pheasant on the bottom. Opened out it is 11″ wide, 6-1/2″ deep and 7-1/2″ tall at the highest. It does not sit quite level and will rock maybe 1/4″ or so if you force it. (See video)
