Book published in 2002, Worthy Of Remembrance A History Of Redmont by Cathy Criss Adams, published by the Redmont Park Historical Foundation, second printing. This wonderful, hardback book has the history of the Redmont area, near Mountain Brook, in Alabama and multiple photos of homes and families. It’s a very interesting read if you’re from the area, have family there or from there, or, like me, passed through so many times over the years. As I looked through the book, I’d pick a house that was featured and look it up on Google Maps. It was gratifying to see that most of the houses are still standing and well taken care of, and largely unchanged from their beginnings. So many were houses I have admired in passing.
The book is 11″ x 9″ and has 320 pages including the index. Photos are black and white. No dust jacket, but it may never have had one. Inside is clean and not marked or torn. The front cover is slightly bowed at the right bottom corner
