This vintage advent calendar is a hard one to find. It’s a copy of an Ellen Clapsaddle print, Wishing You Christmas Cheer, Santa, his bag full of toys, and a little boy, on the top part, with the embroidered, fabric pockets on the bottom. The top feels like nylon and the bottom is more of a poly/cotton. It has a wood dowel across the top and a stiff wire to hang by. This one is a little different from the (very) few others I’ve seen in that it has a gold, wood star attached to move in the pockets and felt mistletoe and berries on each loop that hangs on the rod. I don’t know if any of this is original or if the original owner added them, but they are certainly not unwelcome. The size is 24″ long x 16″ wide. With the wire and dowel rod, the total length would be 30 and width of the dowel is 19″. There is a trace of glue visible on the loop on the left. Otherwise, it’s in good, clean condition.
