Red Wing pottery, Zephyr, low bowl in pink fleck, designed by Charles Murphy in the mid-1950s. The color is a deep pink with gray flecks which are more concentrated on the inside than the outside. It is marked Red Wing USA M1493.
It is 11″ from handle to handle, 6-1/2″ across and 2-1/4″ tall on the low sides, 3″ tall at the handles. It’s in beautiful condition. But there is a tiny spot of raised clay on the rim. It might feel like a chip at first, but the loupe showed it to merely be a clay build up rather than a chip.
