Vintage, wood shoe shine box with it’s original brown paint which has aged and crackled naturally. The box can easily double as a tool caddy.
It is 10-1/2″ high, 11-1/2″ wide and 8-1/2″ front to back. The handle is 3-1/2″ wide and the sides are 2″ deep. The paint overall is worn and the wood is chipped. It has a great primitive look and feel.
Thinking of uses, it would go well in your primitive kitchen to hold plates, cutting boards, utensils, glasses…. Or it would be perfect anywhere, in almost any decor, holding dried hydrangeas. Use it at Christmas to hold strings of popcorn and cranberries, pine cones, whatever you can think of. In the fall, dried (or fabric) sunflowers. In the spring, grunged fabric bunnies. The possibilities are endless! They are only limited by your imagination and ideas you can find on Pinterest. See this post where I showed this shoe shine box used in different holidays.
