Metal grasshopper figurine with verdigris finish. The age is unknown, but it was probably produced in the latter part of the 20th century. The color of the finish is intentional rather than naturally aged.
It is 4″ long and the legs and body are quite detailed. The head is pointed down toward the ground. The antennae are curved wire and span the length of the body. The legs are attached with flat head screws as well as the cross piece it sits on.
Use it for a grasshopper paperweight, add to a grasshopper or bug collection or just as a shelf accent.
