Pair of fox hunt scene wall pockets or match holders. They are embossed ceramic, 6″ tall by 3-1/2″ wide and 1″ front to back. They will stand alone or hang by the hole in the back. Marked “The Hinode” on the back. Made in Japan around the 1940’s. No chips, cracks or crazing. I believe the graphics are decals rather than hand-painted and some of the red color has lifted on one. Please see the photos. The other has rust stains on the back.
