Simplicity 8175, a dress pattern from 1949 for a 30″ bust. The one piece dress buttons up the back asymmetrically and the first few buttons can be left unbuttoned for a deep back V. This pattern is cut and used. NOTE: The sleeve was cut for the short sleeve and the longer length that was cut off is no longer with the pattern. Anyone familiar with altering patterns should be able to add that length.
The pattern envelope is storage-worn – wrinkles, bends and some edge tears.
Measurements:
- Bust: 30″
- Waist: 25″
- Hip: 33″
Suggested fabrics: Lightweight woolens, gabardine, rayon and silk crepe, shantung, faille, linen.
