Beautifully worked vintage embroidery
Home Sweet Home with a house and gardens embroidered on an 18″ square linen blend. The shape of the house is rather primitive, basically line drawing, with a red brick roof and brown windows. The gardens are quite pretty with pink, yellow, periwinkle blue and lavender flowers.
Perfect for a cottage decor room! The piece is unframed and the edges are not finished. It could be a homey pillow or frame it to add to your vintage embroidery collection.
I don’t know the age of the embroidery. Best guess is 1960’s-1980’s.
