Alexander City souvenir, a paperweight commemorating the 125th anniversary in 1998. Made of iron, it is 3-3/4″ in diameter and 1/4″ thick. The lettering is carved out of the metal. Some of the paint has worn off in places. This is an extremely hard to find Alex City, Alabama, collectible item. I don’t know how many were made, but apparently, the rest are in private collections. This one was found at an estate sale in Dadeville, Alabama.
