Simple in style, primitive Christmas embroidery that reads, Family is the gift of Christmas, surrounded by a heart with stars and red berries. It is on an unbleached, homespun type linen. Framed in a simple, wooden, 8″ x 10″ frame with glass. It looks like there may be some dust under the glass. I can’t tell for sure if it’s dust or a discoloration in the fabric. Heavy craft paper was used on the back of the frame and a sawtooth hanger attached. I estimate this was stitched in the 1980s-90s.
