Polish, Folklor trinket box. 3-7/8″ x 3-7/8″ and 2″ tall, it is made of wood with a carved medallion on the top and carved hearts resembling lace on the sides. It appears to have a green stain rather than simply painted green. Or maybe they used tinned paint for the effect. The medallion on the top has a red dot in the center and white dots surrounding it. The petals are dark green with lighter green in the centers. The box is hinged and works smoothly and tightly.
There is a light dent and scratch on the back at the bottom.
The sticker on the bottom reads:
