Vintage, 1960s, brass, Dansk ring candle holder, designed by Jens Quistgaard. It is 3″ in diameter, 1″ high, and has cups for 5 tiny taper (1/4″) candles. There are a few, very small, dark spots, some you can actually feel with your fingernail, and an area where it appears the protective finish is gone. Because of the highly reflective nature of the polished brass, we really have to be looking for any flaw – as I do when writing descriptions – to see any of this.
