Cool, vintage 1980s executive Stowaway telephone. Perfect for the mid mod office or home. And it works! I’m not positive the sound is the best quality as I was sitting next to it calling and answering from my cell phone and it was a little hard to tell talking to myself, also the cord/cable is not good, but that’s the best I can do for ya. The jack cord will need to be replaced. I used the one that came with it when I bought it and will send it along, but the little prong on one end is broken and plastic coating on the cord itself is brittle.
The wood box has a squares design on all five visible sides, and is . The lid opens on hinges. The metal trim on the front is in very nice condition. The phone is cream colored and the ear/mouth piece is darker on the top than underneath. Please see all the photos.
It is a Western Electric phone with serial number G226347. There is a date stamped on the bottom of AUG 17 1981.
