The finished turquoise sideboard

MCM Turquoise Buffet

He did it! The turquoise buffet/sideboard in the previous post is finished. We’ve spread out and got another booth at Longleaf Antique Mall in Alexander City, Alabama. We have two there and two at the Pickle Patch in Sylacauga. This buffet is in Longleaf on Erin Ave.

The brown we ended up using? It’s Sherwin Williams “Raisin”. Goes on purple, dries brown.

  1. Wanda, it is just funky enough in that hot turquoise. We are pretty much stuck with our MiFi’s for 2 years. Good news is at our yellow house they are 4G and fast but slow at our old house. We just have too many cotton picking houses.

  2. A faboosh turquoise piece. Has that marvelous retro feel and look to it and the turquoise makes it pop.

  3. Wow – great color. It completely revives the piece – great storage with it, too. Linda

  4. Love it, I am always looking for these to redo! Great colors, made the piece.

  5. That is such a cool retro piece! It would make an awesome TV console!
