Sweet little 3″ tall, Haviland Limoges jar or vase with lovely pink and blue flowers. It is about 3-1/4″ diameter at the widest area of the bulbous shape. The floral design is encircled by raised dots and gold trim. Interspersed throughout are painted flowers, gold leaves and raised leaves. The shoulder is a raised scallop.
I do not believe it was meant to have a lid.
Use it as a vase, pen holder, toothbrush holder, paint brush holder, etc. in your romantic, cottage decor room.
The bottom is marked: Haviland Limoges — Haviland France — and has the castle/crown mark. I bought it at an estate sale in the 1980s, so we know it is at least that old. I suspect it was made in the 1960s-70s.
