Pair of vintage brass pillar candle holders, made in Taiwan, circa 1970s-80s. They are different heights, the tallest being 17″ and the shorter being 14″. The bases are 3-1/4″ square. The columns are ribbed. They have not been polished and have very dark patina. The shorter one has felt on the bottom and a sticker that reads, 90 ——- 083 —WAA –MADE IN FABRIQUE A TAIWAN. (Meaning made in a factory in Taiwan) The taller one has lost its felt, but has thin cardboard on the bottom. I would call these a Greco-Roman style. They will go well in any traditional, grand millennial, chinoiserie, Italian, etc. decor. They use regular, 1/2″ – 5/8″, taper candles.
