Great with primitive or farmhouse decor, a collection of five cotton mill spools and bobbins. There are two wooden spools, two wooden bobbins and one I would consider a bobbin, but I’ve seen identified as a spool.
The tallest spool has brass around the base and top and is 11″ tall.
A second spool is 7″ and has no brass. Just wood.
There is a little Christmas tree shaped bobbin, almost 3″ tall, with a small amount of thread wrapped around it.
One, 10″ bobbin with brass around the bottom of the shaft and wire wrapped around the base. The wood has grooves to better hold the thread. Or I’d assume that’s the purpose of the grooves.
The last bobbin/spool is 9″ tall and is totally wrapped in thread. It has metal wire wrapped around the base.
