I love that this antique wood bilboquet (or ball and string toy) stands on its own while not being played with. Not that many kids in its past stood it up on their dresser rather than throwing it in the toy box when Momma said, “Clean that room!” Then again, maybe they did keep it standing. There is very little damage to the paint. The brightly colored stand/handle is 5-1/2″. The ball is about 1-3/4″ in diameter and the colors are duller on it, presumably from landing in the cup over and over. The string, which is soiled, is a little over 9″ long and is secure to the handle and ball.
