Gorgeous, antique half doll a shade under 5″ tall, precisely 4-7/8″ tall. She is absolutely perfect. There is one, tiny manufacturing defect, a spot of missing paint under the glaze near one elbow. Her lace-up top is light blue, perhaps lighter than it looks in the pictures, with a white and pale yellow collar and white lace cuffs. Her arms are open and she holds one perfect, light pink rose in one hand near her breast. The other hand is so delicately done with the pinky slightly raised and both hands have detailed fingers with fingernails. Her molded wig is a mass of gray curls.
She has 4 holes on the base for attaching a skirt. There is NO mark. No stamp, no incised numbers, nothing to indicate if she’s a Heubach or a Goebel or something else. Perhaps the mold was sold to other companies. However, there aren’t many of these out there to be found! She seems to be a rare beauty.
