Early American style, decoupaged memory jug. The images are from magazines of the 1960s to perhaps the early ’70s. Collage decoupaging bottles and jugs was a popular craft at the time and the images of most, this one included, reflected the Early American trend in decorating. These jugs are cousins to the mosaic memory jugs, but at a tiny fraction of the cost.
The handled jug is 12″ tall, probably a cider jug. The images are all secure and in good condition. There is a silver colored spot on the handle that doesn’t have an image. I can’t tel if it was never there or if it came off. However, I do suspect the latter.
