Sweet, vintage ice cream scoop. And what could be more retro than pink aluminum?!
This vintage ice cream scoop is 7″ long and has a 2″ diameter bowl. The ice cream release is a spring, lever mechanism that pops that scoop of ice cream right out of the bowl. There is no manufacturer mark, but the words, “Pat. No. 2756698” and “MFD. U.S.A.” are engraved on the handle.
It lived in a drawer with other utensils for probably 50 plus years and does have the usual scratches to show for it. There is also some color loss around the edges – or perhaps there was never any color there to begin with – but there is no heartbreaking damage. Nothing alarming.
A must for a 1950’s-60’s style kitchen! Perfect for any kitchen, for that matter. And great for theater or movie props as well.
