Easy and budget friendly round-up of fall projects and decor.

Have you been inspired all the fall, blog, home tours to do some fall decorating, but need an extra push? Something quick and easy? And inexpensive? Here are eight, fun and pretty and budget friendly ideas to get you started. Don’t be surprised if you see me copying some of them, too!

I need your opinions. Lots of bloggers are saying slideshows are the way to go and are jumping on the bandwagon, so I’m reluctantly giving it a try today. From the blogging side, I definitely see the advantages. But from the user side, I’m not convinced it’s a good user experience. Please tell me. Do you love them, hate them, or are you indifferent to slideshows? Why?

Anyway, here it is. It’s not very long, so there’s that.

Hope you enjoyed and can use some of the ideas. Please visit the beautiful blogs linked in the pictures.

And don’t forget to tell me your feelings on slideshows. It’s okay if you hate them. I can take it!

  1. I liked the slide show. Easy to navigate. Fun ideas!

  2. All fun ideas, nicely presented!

  3. By slideshows, do you mean Roundups like this? Or do you mean videos like Youtube? If you mean roundups, I like them. If you mean videos, I don’t like them. Videos, if done professionally or semi-professionally are fine. Most videos are done by amateurs who repeat themselves a lot & very slowly get to the point.

    1. Like this, Florence. I usually feel irritated when I have to look at a slide show, but that’s usually because they’re often so slow to load. I get sucked in every time by those in my Facebook feed like, “20 Child Stars – Where Are They Now” and they take forever to go through. But I think it’s because they’re reloading ads every time.

      1. Oh yes, I get sucked into those too “You wouldn’t believe what so & so looks like now.” Hmm, they’re interesting, but due to the ads, they are slow & slow up my computer. So I guess I have mixed feelings about them.

  4. There were some great and very simple decor ideas in your slide show, Wanda. I may try a few of them myself. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thanks Mrs. A. I haven’t had the chance to try any yet. Thought maybe today, but need to go to Wal-Mart and that always just destroys my day.

  5. Love the slide show its a great idea, never thought about that. Beautiful!

    1. Thanks Maria! I might use one every now and then in the future, but don’t want to over do it. This one has done pretty well.

  6. I’m not a huge fan of slide shows but would probably like this one on a PC screen rather than my laptop. I had to do some scrolling each time to see the caption and the slide.

    1. Me too, Mary. My problems with slide shows is the scrolling up and down and loading time. Thanks for commenting!
